Before being in Para.575 I found the paranormal very interesting but had never actually experienced any type of activity. The longer I have been involved with the group the less skeptical I've become. While I can't say that there is certain life after death, I believe now that there is something, and I want to know what that something is. For about two years I have helped with the technical aspect of our investigations

I have been interested in unexplained phenomena for many years and have personal encounters with the unexplained that has raised my curiosity. The opportunity for me to explore the possiblities of life beyond what society has known rose about two years ago. Since that point our group has investigated several New Mexico sites. We have gathered pictures, videos, EVP recordings and personal experiences that do not have explanation. We are not here to say that ghosts or spirits exist, we are about investigating that which is not understood. We report only what we see or hear.

About 15 years ago my daughter had an encounter that terrified her. I spent time trying to find out what was happening to her. After much reading, I found the need to research paranormal activity. Years ago, finding legitimate information about ghost hunting was not easy. I learned however that there was something more out there, and I wanted to know what it was. I have found also that not all bumps in the night are paranormal. Two years ago we became a group and have had some very interesting incidents. I have fallen in love with ghost hunting and proving the existance, and sometimes the nonexistance of paranormal activities. My daughter still has some experiences, but now I know more of how to help her. I look forward to each investigation with hopes of learning more about the paranormal.

As a child, I was fascinated by stories of unusual or unexplained events. Although stories could be entertaining, I wanted to find rational and/or scientific explanations. I now realize that there are some events that do not lend themselves to clear, black-and-white answers.
My background in science is as a board certified laboratory technologist (in anatomic pathology). I was trained to search for details and observe changes on a cellular level. My work experience gave me the capability to assist with research, documentation and evaluation of collected evidence. When Mary, Bruce, Laurie and I first gathered informally to look for evidence of paranormal activities, it became clear that we each drew on different experiences and resources to benefit the outcome of our investigations. We then decided to form a group that could assist those in our area who were troubled with the unexplained by investigating and analyzing evidence. |
